NTP6212EaSY has emerged as a consistent performer over a large geographical area. In the present study going from Council Bluffs in the western Corn Belt to Chillicothe, OH in the east and to Charleston, MO in the south, 6212EaSY x SGI157 delivered an additional 16 bushels per acre in yield compared to SGI162 x SGI157. Further studies with more locations are planned for 2021. Likewise, it would be highly desirable to test 6212EaSY in combination with other male parents.
