The Opportunity

Native Traits Corporation is working with breeders and genetic suppliers to enhance the profitability and performance of hybrid seed corn.  EaSY™ is a naturally-occurring trait that enhances seed parent yield by 25-50%.  Most importantly, over the past three years, EaSY has improved hybrid yield by at least 20 bushels per acre.  In short, EaSY enables our partners to deliver a superior product at less cost.


The Company is seeking the support of its current as well as prospective new partners to scale-up the adoption of EaSY.  Specifically, we ask for your help in achieving the following objectives:

1. Introgression of EaSY into additional elite commercial breeding stocks.  We prefer forward breeding projects as opposed to backcross breeding.
2. Provision of elite male parents to be tested in combination with EaSY lines.  The goal is to create and test as many EaSY hybrids as possible.
3. Market EaSY lines/hybrids through multiple channels.
