NTP3300 x MBS9508 Hybrids

As reported previously in 2019 (click here), hybrids in the NTP3300EaSY series are superior to SGI162. The purpose of this study was to confirm those results, but with a different male, in this case, MBS9508. Check hybrids were NTP3201EaSY x MBS9508 and MBS2747 x MBS9508. The data presented below are from six locations.* 

 As in 2019, NTP3302EaSY was superior compared to other lines in the 3300 series. Also, compared to NTP3201EaSY, 3302EaSY had essentially the same yield, but with lower grain moisture. Likewise, 3302EaSY had 10 bushels/acre less yield compared to MBS2747, but was considerably drier at harvest.
